Sharing Stories Exhibit

Two of my quilts, FishWife and BirdSick (which are both strangely compound words I made up and squished together without removing the capital letter), will be in the SAQA exhibit Sharing Stories: Expressions and Stitched Messages, which opens this Saturday, July 9, from noon to 2 PM at the Front Porch Gallery (2903 Carlsbad Blvd in Carlsbad, California). Unfortunately, I won’t be at the opening because I’m still in Sweden, but the show is open through September 4th, so I will have plenty of time to check out the show; hopefully, you will too.

  1. Congratulations Kathy….. Wow, of all the summers I won’t be down for my week at the beach……Darn!!! I had a foot injury back in March, from which I’m still in a wheel chair, and so “beach time” is out for this year…… We go to the family house on the beach in Oceanside every year in August, and I would have loved a reason to go into Carlsbad for a Quilt Treat! Good luck with the show, and have a great time in Sweden. All the best, Lisel
