On the exhibition trail, at Quilt National at the Dairy Barn, Athens, Ohio, through September 4, 2017 (and then traveling afterwards), is Beyond the Concrete. The first travel venue was the Foundry Art Centre, St. Charles, MO, Oct 6-Dec 1, 2017.
It will also be at the European Patchwork Meeting in Sainte-Marie-Aux-Mines, France, September 12 – 15, 2019. That means she should come home soon.
Womanscape is part of Metamorphosis, an Allied Craftsmen/Mingei Museum show that will be at City College in San Diego through December 8.
There are openings on Saturday, October 5, from 10-11:30 AM, then Thursday, October 12, from 5-7 PM. I’ll be teaching a drop-in workshop on a recycled fabric quilt block with embroidery on Saturday, November 9, from 1-3 PM at the exhibit.
